Back in October 2000, IMS announced the formation of a strategic partnership with Vizual Business tools and the integration between IMS Payroll Partner
and Personnel Manager.

Both IMS Payroll Partner and Vizual Personnel Manager share the same MS Compliant technologies, and export seamlessly with common desktop applications. Personnel Manager has been completely customised for New Zealand and comes complete with over 550 data fields per employee, numerous standard reports, letter, graphs etc. Users can even design their own screens and layouts and add new data fields within minutes.
Every likely facet of an employee’s details can be tracked, some examples of the type of information generally recorded include Career History, Appraisals, Training, Work Accidents and OSH, Company Vehicles and Qualification.
Personnel Manager is more than just a database receptacle for employee data, it is a management tool with a word processor and support for MS Word if preferred, there are over 40 appropriate letter and contract templates and the ability to store modified versions of these – and manages completely the employee correspondence. Data can be analysed using an internal spreadsheet or exported to Excel. There is a built- diary/schedule system or MS Outlook if preferred to track dates that may be triggered automatically
The Security Manager allows administrators to set up users and define access rights down to the field level, an audit trail monitors users and reports any security breaches.
